How our coverage works

Our trucks roll from a single dispatch HQ at 105-13 Metropolitan Ave Suite 109 in Forest Hills, central Queens. From there we cover 12 Queens neighborhoods directly with full ETA and pricing transparency, plus a wider routing area on a quote-by-quote basis.

The geography matters: a tow truck that's 3 miles from your car at 9 PM on a Tuesday is not the same as one that's 3 miles from your car at 5:30 PM during PM rush. The same Forest Hills HQ that gets to Rego Park in 5 minutes off-peak takes 15-20 minutes during the Queens Blvd evening crawl. The same HQ that gets to Astoria in 15 minutes off-peak can take 35 minutes when the Triborough Bridge backs up. We tell you the real number on the call, not the marketing number.

Each neighborhood page below has the specific street-level detail for that area — which corridors are tricky, which sub-areas have garage clearance issues, which intersections produce the most calls, what the realistic drive time looks like at different times of day. Pick your neighborhood for the specifics.

Quick reference: ETA from our Forest Hills HQ

Off-peak realistic times (add 30-100% during rush hour):

  • Forest Hills, Rego Park, Elmhurst — 5-15 minutes (closest)
  • Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Long Island City, Astoria, Ridgewood — 12-20 minutes
  • Flushing, Jamaica — 12-20 minutes
  • Bayside — 20-30 minutes (furthest)

The honest-ETA philosophy is that we'd rather lose a fast-emergency call than over-promise and have you stuck waiting longer than we said. If a different operator can get to you faster than we can, we'll say so on the call.

Coverage FAQ

About Our Service Area

Which Queens neighborhoods do you cover?

We cover 12 Queens neighborhoods directly with full ETA and pricing transparency: Forest Hills (our HQ), Rego Park, Flushing, Jamaica, Astoria, Long Island City, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Sunnyside, Ridgewood, and Bayside. We also serve adjacent areas (Maspeth, Glendale, Middle Village, Kew Gardens, Briarwood) on a routing basis — call dispatch with the address and we'll quote it.

Do you tow on highways and parkways?

No. NYC parkways (Grand Central Pkwy, Cross Island Pkwy, Belt Pkwy, Jackie Robinson Pkwy) and the BQE / LIE mainlines are NYPD-only or parkway-permit-operator territory — we are not licensed for highway recovery. We work the local streets and service roads that feed into the highways. If your car is on the highway itself, NYPD or a parkway-permit operator will move it to the next exit and we'll meet you there.

How fast can you reach me from your Forest Hills HQ?

It depends on the neighborhood. Forest Hills proper, Rego Park, and Elmhurst are 5-15 minutes off-peak. Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Flushing, and Ridgewood are 12-20 minutes off-peak. Jamaica is 15-20 minutes. Bayside is 20-30 minutes (the furthest from us). Add 30-100% during rush hours. We honest-quote the live ETA on the call.

Are your rates the same in every neighborhood?

Yes. Standard service rates apply across all 12 neighborhoods — no zone surcharge for Bayside or Flushing, no premium for Forest Hills calls. Loaded mileage charges apply to the actual miles your vehicle is towed; that's it.

What if I'm in a neighborhood you don't list?

Call us anyway. Maspeth, Glendale, Middle Village, Kew Gardens, Briarwood, Corona, College Point, Whitestone, Auburndale, Hollis, Cambria Heights, Springfield Gardens, Howard Beach, and Ozone Park are all served on a routing basis from our Forest Hills HQ. We'll quote the ETA on the call rather than promise something without checking.
